Humility, a Mothers Perspective
Written and Experienced by Debbie Cox
Note: I apologize not only to Debbie but to each of you for the late posting of this wonderful testimony of how the Holy Spirit not only humbles us but lifts us up at the same time. (Gary Piper)
“Humble men (and women) are very fortunate!” he told them, “for the Kingdom of Heaven is given to them.” (Matthew 5:3, The Living Bible, italics added)
Mother’s Day for those of us who are mothers can be exciting, aggravating, sad, proud, humbling. My children humble me daily well, nearly every day. Dictionary.com has one definition of humble as- to make meek: to humble one's heart. And today my heart was humbled again. You see I blog on schizophrenia and what it does to my family, and I belong to a help/support thingy on line.
